Questions, answered.
Everything finance and operations teams want to know before they switch their fixed asset register.
How is AssetLens priced?
₹47 per asset per year — currently 20% off at ₹27 per asset per year as a launch offer. There's a minimum annual commitment of ₹10,000 (covers up to 370 assets), and per-asset pricing kicks in above that. No setup fees, no implementation charges, unlimited users. Enterprise pricing for groups and on-premise deployments is custom.
Does it run both IND AS / Companies Act and Income Tax Act books?
Yes — that's the core design. Every asset depreciates twice in parallel: SLM under Companies Act (for IND AS Note 10 disclosure) and WDV under Income Tax Act (for Form 3CD). The depreciation engine posts both books simultaneously every month-end run. No manual reconciliation between them.
Can it handle assets in foreign currency?
Yes. Capitalize an asset in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY or any of 12 supported currencies — AssetLens stores both the foreign amount with the FX rate at capitalization and the INR-converted cost. The asset register reports in INR (or whichever base currency you set), the FX audit trail remembers the rate.
What about compliance certificates and AMC contracts?
Built in. Track Fire NOC, lift inspection, pollution NOC, calibration certificates and any other regulatory document per asset or facility-level. The system auto-flags certificates expiring within 60 days (amber) and expired ones (red). AMC contracts get the same treatment with visit logs and renewal alerts.
How fast is it at scale?
AssetLens is built for enterprise scale — the register supports up to 50 lakh (5 million) assets per company. Stress-tested at production volumes, all core pages render in under 500 ms, the asset register loads in under 200 ms, and reports including IND AS Note 10, Form 3CD, ROI, carbon footprint, and benchmarking all complete in under 500 ms. The depreciation engine posts monthly entries across both books in one click.
Can we import our existing asset register from Excel or SAP?
Yes. The CSV import lets you map columns once and brings in code, name, category, location, department, custodian, cost, accumulated depreciation, capitalization date, and 30+ other fields. SAP exports work directly via the SAP FA Code column. Validation catches duplicate codes, missing capitalization dates, and negative NBV before any data lands.
Who owns the data?
You do. Your data is exported in CSV, XLSX, and PDF formats at any time. On the cloud edition we store data in Indian data centres (Mumbai region). On the Enterprise on-premise edition, data never leaves your network. We don't train any AI model on your data — there is no AI training in AssetLens.
What support do you offer?
Starter and Growth plans include email support during Indian business hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm IST), with priority WhatsApp support on Growth. Enterprise plans include a named support engineer, custom SLA, and dedicated onboarding. We typically respond within 4 hours during business hours.
